Todays weigh-in

Well it's Monday, and you know what that means!  Weigh-In time!  So, I (Jenny) lost 1.4 pounds!  Its not that much, but as long as I am losing, I'm happy.  So Darren lost 8 pounds!  That is great seeing as how he lost nothing last time.  We've both been doing great with changing out eating.  The exercise part is another story.  We are exercising, but not as much as we should be.  I think if we can just get the exercise part down pat, we'll be in business for sure.  Good luck to everyone else!

TGIF

I am so glad it is Friday!  I was getting so sick of work!  I was wondering if housework counts as exercise because I sure have alot of it to do tomorrow.  I'm sure it burns some calories, but I'll have to do some other sort of workout also.  I guess I'll do my biggest loser dvd's.  Well I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and good luck to everyone who has a weigh in coming up!

Smaller

A friend of mine came to see me today at work and she said I look SMALLER!!!  That is a great compliment and a great feeling.  She is also trying to lose weight and doing the Biggest Loser and she's looking great.  It helps so much to have so many people encouraging me and to have people going through the same things as I am.  I really, honestly feel like this time, it is for real.  I'm really gonna do it!

Getting ready to work out

Well I'm getting ready to work out before dinner.  I can't decide which workout dvd i want to do.  I guess I'll do the biggest loser cardio max.  I love these new workout dvd's.  They really work you out!

Weigh in # 2

Well today turned out better than I thought it would - well for me anyway!  For those of you who read my last blog, I was almost certain I wasn't going to lose anything this week.  It is that time of the month and for you ladies out there who know what I'm talking about, it seems almost impossible to lose any weight.  Well I weighed in this morning and I have lost 2.2 lbs this week!  I was so surprised.  It makes me want to work even harder this week because I want to continue to see good losses every week.  I feel like if I hadn't seen any results, I would have been discouraged.  My poor hubby on the other hand, didn't lose any weight this week.  He had been sick though, so I think he will do better this week.  Well to everyone else who had a weigh in today, I hope you all did well.

Dreading Tomorrow!

Well tomorrow will be our second weigh in since starting this program, and I'm not looking forward to it.  This may be TMI for some of you, but it is that time of the month for me and I NEVER lose weight during that time of the month.  I feel bloated and according to the scale, I havent lost anything.  I have been eating good and working out, but sometimes there is nothing you can do.  Well I guess I can hopefully look forward to a bigger loss the next week.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to lose weigh during your period?

SORE BUNS!

Man - Bob and Jillian sure worked me out last night!  I decided to do the CardioMax and Power Sculpt DVD's last night and I am definetely feeling the burn today.  Hey, no pain, no gain right?  Well to those who haven't tried these DVD's, I highly recommend them!

SNOW

I woke up this morning to have about 5 inches of snow on the ground!  Unfortunately for me, it doesn't matter what kind of weather, I still have to go to work!  Darren was lucky and got to spend the day sledding.  So he has definetely gotten his exercise for the day - hill climbing!  I have been using my morning break at work to go walking.  We have a hallway that goes behind the Doctor's offices that we use for walking.  6 trips back and forth equal 1 mile!  It's great because no matter what the weather, we still have a place to go walking and squeeze the exercise in!  My thinking is that every little bit adds up!  Its better to get 15 minutes here or there, then to sit on my butt because I don't have enough time!

Today's Weigh-In

Well today was our first official weigh in since starting this Biggest Loser plan!  Jenny lost 5.4 lbs!!!!!! YEAH BABY!  Darren hasn't gotten home from work yet, so I'll post his weight tomorrow.  I am so excited though!  I think 5.4 lbs is a really big deal.  I mean that is quite a percentage of my body - 3% I think.  I'm not very good with this percentage of body weight thing!  Does anyone have a math formula for us math haters?  Well I hope everyone else had a great weigh in too!
Also I posted some pictures today of our fat bodies.  Its way too cold here for me to strip down to the shorts and sports bra - maybe I can take some of those soon!  For now though, jeans and sweatshirt will have to do!

Weigh In

 
Well, tomorrow will be our first weigh in since we started this program.  We are both already feeling better and feel like we have lost a little.  It is better to lose weight slowly, so as long as we are losing weight and not gaining, we will be happy.   I will be back tomorrow to let you all know how the weigh in goes.

Biggest Loser Million Pound Match-Up

 
Well we have decided to finally work as a team and lose the weight for good!  We love The Biggest Loser and we hope to be as successful as all the contestants on the show have been.  Good luck to everyone else who is taking this challenge too!
